Another bee painting to start the day off.

I love/hate that Journey song. Ugh, it is so darn catchy and you have to sing along to it. They play this song at the end of our high school football games. I love the ritual of attending these games. Sitting in the band parent section, cheering for our team (Go Dons!), being part of our community, then, carefully disembarking our crowded and flimsy bleachers hearing this song. As a band parent, I really am there for the marching band show and music.

I do not think that we will have a typical marching band season this coming year. It is my daughter’s senior year, so it is hitting us hard. I noticed that the school music program posted their schedule; practice days/hours; band camp, competitions…I hear that song…don’t stop, beliven!’
