I Just designed and ordered these postcards. I did the sketch of the Capital Dome a few years ago and just came across it again. Back when I drew this, we were getting ready to visit Washington, DC. I was so excited and filled with pride to visit our nation’s capitol. Now, we are in a different era.

I have been writing to my local Congressman (Eric Swalwell) and Senators (Diane Feinstein and Kamala Harris) to voice my opinion and thank them when they do things that align with my values. Additionally, I’ve sent correspondences to various media outlets to thank them for their important role in our democracy and to discourage them from giving voice to habitual liars on their news shows. It’s a small act, but it makes me feel like I am doing something, anything to discharge my utter disgust.
