As always, doing art is my restorative practice. I have been painting ice pops – they are cheerful, and colorful. A moment of escape. Things are so heavy right now.

My first one is an homage to the Marching Dons (Amador Valley High School). I am so proud to be part of this music community and cannot wait to see the full show this year. I am over the moon that the school colors are purple and gold – my favorite color combo! What a happy coincidence.
