Solo show is officially open!

I am so thrilled about this opportunity to share my artwork! It’s always been a goal of mine to have my artwork displayed. Here it is; now a reality. I’ve had various iterations of imposter syndrome, dread and anxiety. Ultimately, I pushed through, gave myself many a pep talk, and attempted to quash those insecurities. I know that I am my own worst critic. That’s a work in progress.

Gallery Hours:

Wednesdays: 10am-5pm

Thursdays & Fridays: 12pm-7pm

Saturdays: 10am-3pm

Been a while…

It has been a while since I posted here. I changed jobs (now working in the department of psychiatry for Kaiser) and have been focused on getting ready for the PAL art wall exhibit. This has been a goal of mine to have my work displayed. I am thrilled that it is finally happening!

Stop by the Firehouse Arts Center in Pleasanton July 29 – September 9 – definitely visit the main gallery, perhaps see a performance, but do go upstairs and see my artwork! You’ll see my digital and acrylic paintings. I will be there August 5th for a meet and greet. Hope to see you!

Upcoming Events

It has been a little while since I last posted here. I did my fist table on Weekends on Main Street. It was very hot (over 100 degrees at 5pm) but lots of fun. I had the pleasure of meeting Tejal and see her beautiful resin artwork and paintings. You should check her out on Insta @color_ur_imagination. It was also wonderful to spend some time with Karen, another local artist. You can check out her prints/designs @karenbarry_art

Tejal, me and Karen braving the heat!

It was a delight to partner with Studio Seven Arts – a local gallery in Pleasanton and the Pleasanton Art League -PAL truly supports artists in the TriValley

I enjoyed meeting people who were strolling on Main Street. Lots of families, dogs and bicyclists! It is a vibrant community we have here! I will be out again on July 23rd and August 6th selling cards, prints, coasters, stickers and original artwork.

Iconic Pleasanton decoration

I created this in Procreate – if you live or work in Pleasanton, CA, you might be familiar with these arches. During the holiday season, it get bedazzled with this mirror wreath and garland. I love it! It makes stoplights more interesting. Does your hometown have iconic decorations?

Open Studios – June 27th and 28th

I know that this is months away, but I am happy to announce that I will be participating in the East Bay Open Studios (EBOS) in June. This year, I decided to show my work at the Firehouse Arts Center in Pleasanton. It is a beautiful, inspiration-filled setting and a perfect downtown Pleasanton location. I know that it will be a wonderful stop on your open studio tour!

New items!

For ArtWalk, I wanted to have artwork for sale that is affordable and original. I am happy to announce my Artaments! These are 3″ x 3″ acrylic canvases painted and priced with love! They make the perfect gift (to self and others) and will add some whimsy to your holiday decor!

My first one is an homage to the Marching Dons (Amador Valley High School). I am so proud to be part of this music community and cannot wait to see the full show this year. I am over the moon that the school colors are purple and gold – my favorite color combo! What a happy coincidence.
